Would you like to help create a huzanity school course?

There are no teachers at huzanity school, but there are creators. We are currently offering introductory courses on major categories of industrial and elemental society, but there are some big and important gaps. For example:

The industrial food system
The legal system
The criminal justice system
Health care
The educational system

In each of these cases we'd love to offer four week introductory courses, using the structure of the courses currently offered. There would be a class meeting on understanding the meaning and value of each topic; on the contemporary situation in industrial society; focus on a specifc topic; and exploration of meaningful alternatives. We are looking for people with some experience in the field or in its theory, and request that those interested attend one of our three or four week courses to learn about our technique and perspective. A stipend $250 - $500 is available to help create and participate in certain courses.

Creating a course involves several steps: Determining the fundamental questions, around which the meetings are formed; Designing the experiential, challenging class activities; and Choosing the reading selections. We do have some ideas and preliminary materials on most of these topics, and would love to share them with you and help you design the course.

We could also use some help with specific class meetings. And there are many more possible courses that we hope to develop eventually (click here for ideas.)
